Enter this practice's Client ID and Client Secret from admin.cliniweb → API Access.

Continuing will let the connecting product read and act on confidential patient information from this practice's Cliniweb records — which includes personal information and health information (“special personal information” under POPIA) — limited to the API functions enabled for this credential.

By continuing, the practice confirms that it:

• is the responsible party for this information and has a lawful basis under POPIA to process it and to share it with the connecting product for the purpose of running the practice;
• has satisfied itself that this disclosure is compatible with its duties of patient confidentiality and with the ethical rules and guidance of the HPCSA (and any other professional board or council that regulates its practitioners);
• has taken reasonable technical and organisational steps to safeguard this information — including a suitable operator / data-processing arrangement with the connecting application, access controls, and restricting use to authorised staff;
• accepts that information disclosed through the connector may be processed and stored outside South Africa, and that it remains responsible for how its own users use the connector;
• will obtain patient consent where the law or its professional obligations require it, and will withdraw this authorisation (in admin.cliniweb → API Access) if these conditions stop being met.
